Why "Always Eat After 7 PM"? (Sponsored Post) Pt. 2

This post is brought to you by our sponsor, “Always Eat After 7 PM”. The opinions expressed above and in subsequent posts are my own.

As you know, my goal is to increase my energy to be able to balance school, work, and self/family - my dynamic trinity. To jumpstart that, I've started reading and following Joel Marion's "Always Eat After 7PM" book and diet. Now, I know your thinking, DIET!!!.

Well, as I said, I'm looking to increase my overall energy. I am not looking to lose weight. This is the main reason I was excited to give Joel's book and diet a chance. It does more than just help you shed the pounds. Joel gives you a science and data-backed understanding of your body and its processes.

You may be wondering, "Backed by science?! Yes, check out Joel's own words about his research:

"What was the most surprising discovery when you were researching scientific data for the diet?

JM: That almost everything my college education and certifications taught me was NOT grounded in published scientific research.

"How long did it take for Joel to develop the diet"?

JM: "It actually took several years of researching for me to discover the real science of eating late night. After a few years of tweaking and refining, I finally came up with a rapid fat loss solution that overcomes all the pitfalls of traditional diets"

Yes, I know I am now trying to lose weight, but Joel's diet does so much more, it gives insight into how your diet influences your mental health, skin, and hair, among other aspects. More specifically, it helps deal with fatigue which plaques me, especially as it's now Law School Finals period!

“Avoiding carbohydrates and restricting calories later in the day can have an adverse effect on your thyroid hormones, which play a major role in metabolism. When the thyroid fails to secrete enough of the hormones that control metabolism, this can trigger symptoms like fatigue, depression, weight gain, thinning hair, and dry skin.”

As I enter this next week, I hope to have increased energy to handle the million tasks that entail my daily routine and get the rest needed to continue the process the next day.
